Profiles
Dewi Turgarini was born in the city of Bandung, on March 20, 1970. She completed her Bachelor majoring in Indonesian History at Padjadjaran University, then Master of Tourism Administration Management at the Bandung Tourism College, and finally graduated as a Doctor of Tourism Studies from Gadjah Mada University. Currently serves as a Head Program Study Catering Industry Management, Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and owner of the Indogastrotourism Tour & Travel. She is also active as an expert on historical, religious, culinary, gastronomic, and spa tourism in various projects, and published a book with the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, West Java. West Java Province Culture and Tourism Office, and Bandung City Tourism and Culture Office. Professionally, she is a tour operation assessor at the Tourism and Spa Professional Certification Institute also a journal reviewer for the Tourism Scientific journal, The Destiana Journal, the Journal of Tourism Education and the Vocational Tourism Journal in Indonesia.
